Travel Photography
Inspired by the legacy of iconic street photographers such as Henri-Cartier Bresson and Steve Mccury, I take in the vibrancy of the world around me through travel photography. Capturing life from a 28mm lens allows me to challenge myself with purposeful composition, and get close and comfortable with my subjects. From the friendly smiles of the amigos I made in Havana, to the familial culture of the Hmong people in the Vietnamese highlands, I love learning about other cultures and my own Vietnamese heritage through travel photography.
My work has been critically acclaimed by industry professionals from National Geographic, the New York Times, and Leica Camera Wetzlar Germany.
